Crafty Birds - Making Robots

Nola :: Kira

We made robots from sparkly paper, pipe cleaners, dots and googly eyes. We happen to have an abundance of robot paraphernalia around, so it made for a perfect robot day. We read our robot book, played with our robot toys, and then made robot pictures. In the afternoon, we took our robot pictures to Eric's work and looked at real robots in his lab.

Easter

Nola :: Kira :: Beautiful Eggs

After near sweat-shop conditions of not letting my parents go to bed until 1:30AM when all the eggs were beautifully decoupaged, we were ready for Easter. The next day, the Curly Birds and their best little friend were delighted with their Easter egg hunt.

The Aunty Sandi Spring Collection

A package arrived from England last week. I was so excited to see the much anticipated Aunty Sandi Spring Collection! Two beautifully knitted spring cardigans - one pale yellow and one white - with pearl buttons and short sleeves.

Nola instantly loved her cardigan. Kira wondered where her sleeves and hood were, but after a few days of pondering the situation, Kira decided that she liked her cardigan too.

Thank you very much Aunty Sandi. As always - they are lovely. xx

I love to watch my girls play together. I love that they dig in the mud and give worms 'cuddles.' I love their stories. When I stub my toe, they bring me sippies and rabbits. I am privileged to have the choice of staying at home with these girls.
